Gypsy Inn - Nyaung Shwe

The staff was so cool, always down to hang out and chat. And let me tell you, the breakfast was off the charts! We had all the fuel we needed to explore the awesome boat tours and check out the rad restaurants and bars nearby. It was the ultimate teenage adventure!

If I had to pick one thing, it would be that the wifi could be a bit better for our social media updates, but hey, we were too busy having a blast to care too much!

Great value for money, spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed. Convenient location next to the pier for easy boat tours. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their face. Plus, the breakfast spread was amazing with a wide variety of delicious options.

If you're travelling to the Inle Lake area, you'll want to check out this cozy family-run guesthouse. the location is amazing, with easy access to everything you'll need, from restaurants to day trips. the staff is super friendly and helpful, always willing to give advice on what to see and where to go. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with a variety of options to choose from. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with hot showers and comfortable beds. One minor downside is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit slow at times.

Spent New Year's Eve in a cozy and comfortable inn. The breakfast options were tasty and satisfying, and the beds provided a restful sleep. Great location, the pier nearby makes it easy to book lake tours and explore the town. Also enjoyed watching the boats pass by on the river from our balcony.

Only downside was the lack of laundry services, which made it difficult for those coming back from treks or long journeys.

During my Christmas stay, there were two things I really enjoyed about this guesthouse. the staff were very accommodating and friendly. They helped me book tours and offered suggestions for things to do in the area. the location was prime as it was close to many restaurants and cafes. I loved the fact that I could rent a bicycle for a very affordable price and explore the surrounding area on my own.

the worst aspect was the fact that the electricity seemed to go out during the day, which was frustrating as it made it difficult to charge my phone or use my laptop.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in the heart of Nyaung Shwe. The family who runs the hotel were incredibly kind and accommodating. They even arranged my bus ticket for my next destination before I arrived. The room itself was spacious and cozy, with a clean washroom. They also packed a delicious breakfast for my early boat trip. The hotel is conveniently located next to the river and just a few minutes' walk from the city center.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The room at Gypsy Inn was cozy and comfortable, with a satellite TV for entertainment and a mini bar for late-night snacks. The air conditioning was a blessing in the hot weather, and the shower had complimentary toiletries. The 24-hour front desk was helpful, and the bed linen and towels were provided in each room. Having a desk in the room was convenient for getting some work done.

Personally, I found the room lacking a bit of space. But hey, it's just my opinion!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, allowing me to check in early and take a shower after check-out before my night bus. They even organized a boat tour for me and helped me rent a bicycle. The hotel's location is perfect, right in front of the pier and within walking distance of many great restaurants and cafes. the cleanliness of the dormitory was really good, and the hot water worked well. The breakfast had a variety of options and the staff was eager to offer more food.
